Live Sales Training Workshop: Full-Day Recording

What this lesson covers

This is a full-day live workshop recorded in one take. It is the closest thing to sitting in the room: you can see how the day is paced, how exercises are set up, and how the facilitator responds to real questions from salespeople. Use it to judge whether this style of training suits your team before you commission anything.

Key principles

Practice beats theory

Most of the day is spent doing rather than listening. Concepts are introduced briefly and then rehearsed out loud, because skills only change when people say the words themselves.

Discovery before pitching

The session repeatedly returns to asking better questions first. A pitch built on what the buyer actually said is shorter and more persuasive than a generic one.

Objections are information

Push-back is treated as a signal of what the buyer is worried about, not something to argue with. The drills focus on clarifying the concern before answering it.

Always agree the next step

Every conversation should end with a concrete, dated next step. Vague endings are the most common reason deals stall.

Notes to take into your next call

  • Watch in sections: pick one segment per team meeting rather than the full day at once.
  • Pause after each exercise and run it yourselves in pairs before continuing.
  • Write down the three objections your team hears most and test the approach on them.
  • Agree one behaviour to change on calls this week and review it at your next pipeline meeting.
