Enterprise sales training is a different exercise from running a course. You are changing how dozens — sometimes hundreds — of people sell, across regions, product lines and seniority levels, while quota still has to be hit this quarter. That needs a programme architecture, not a workshop.

In detail

Enterprise Sales Training Built for Multi-Team Rollouts

We design and deliver enterprise sales training for organisations running structured commercial teams in London, the wider UK and across EMEA. A typical engagement covers several cohorts — SDRs, account executives, account managers and frontline managers — each with its own curriculum track, sequenced so that managers are trained to reinforce what their reps have just learned.

Every programme is built backwards from a measurable commercial outcome: win rate on qualified opportunities, average contract value, cycle length, or ramp time for new hires. We agree the metric before we design the content, and we report against it.

Programme Architecture

Enterprise engagements are typically structured across four stages. Diagnostic: call reviews, pipeline analysis, manager interviews and a skills baseline across the population. Design: a curriculum mapped to your methodology, your buyers and your CRM stages, with your real deals used as the case material. Delivery: cohort workshops in London or on-site at your offices, plus virtual cohorts for distributed teams, with live deal coaching between sessions. Embedding: manager enablement, coaching scorecards, and a reinforcement cadence over the following two quarters so behaviour survives contact with the pipeline.

Global and Multi-Site Delivery

Many of the organisations we work with are headquartered outside the UK and run a London or EMEA commercial hub. We deliver in-person in London and virtually into other time zones, with the same facilitators across cohorts so the language and frameworks stay consistent. Materials, playbooks and scorecards are handed over as your property at the end of the programme.

Procurement-Ready by Default

Large training purchases go through procurement, legal and often information security. We are set up for that: professional indemnity and public liability insurance, standard supplier onboarding documentation, DBS checks where the sector requires them, GDPR-compliant handling of any participant data, purchase-order invoicing, and staged payment against delivery milestones. We are comfortable responding to formal tenders and RFPs — see our sales training RFP template if you are writing the specification now.

How Enterprise Programmes Are Priced

Enterprise programmes are quoted as fixed-fee engagements based on cohort count, delivery days, design effort and the length of the reinforcement period — not per-head list prices. Multi-year and phased rollouts are quoted as a schedule so budget can be planned across financial years. Our pricing and ROI page explains the models in detail, and the ROI calculator lets you model the return before you speak to us.

What Makes Enterprise Sales Training Different

Enterprise selling is not the same activity as mid-market selling done more slowly. The deal has six to fifteen people attached to it, at least one of whom can say no without ever taking a meeting. The buying process has a procurement stage, a security review and a legal review, each with its own timetable. And the reason deals die is almost never a lost head-to-head against a competitor — it is a decision to do nothing, made quietly, months after your last conversation.

Training built for transactional selling actively harms enterprise teams. It rewards activity over account strategy, teaches closing techniques that insult senior buyers, and leaves reps single-threaded into a champion who then changes job.

Multi-Team and Multi-Site Rollouts

When an organisation trains one team, the change usually dies within a quarter because the surrounding system does not support it. We design enterprise rollouts as cohorts: sellers, managers and where relevant pre-sales and customer success, each with a track that fits their role but shares one vocabulary. Everybody leaves using the same qualification language, the same deal review format and the same definition of a stage.

Sites are sequenced rather than run simultaneously. The first cohort acts as the pilot, the material is corrected based on what actually happened in the room, and later cohorts get the improved version. Where an organisation has an internal enablement function, we train them to run parts of the curriculum themselves so the programme continues without us.

Manager Enablement: The Part Most Programmes Skip

Sales behaviour reverts to whatever the manager inspects. If the manager runs pipeline reviews by asking for a percentage and a close date, reps will optimise for producing plausible percentages and close dates. We train frontline managers separately: how to run a deal review that surfaces risk instead of hiding it, how to coach a recorded call in fifteen minutes, how to hold the qualification standard when the quarter is tight, and how to build a coaching rhythm that fits an already full week.

This is the single highest-leverage part of an enterprise programme and the part most vendors quietly leave out.

Complex Deal Mechanics We Train

Stakeholder mapping and multi-threading, so no deal depends on one relationship. Business case construction in the buyer's own financial language, including who signs off on what. Navigating procurement without surrendering margin — understanding what procurement is measured on and giving them a win that is not price. Handling the security and legal review as a planned workstream with owners and dates rather than an unpleasant surprise. Mutual action plans that the buyer actually agrees to. And competitive positioning where the main competitor is inertia.

Procurement, Compliance and Commercial Terms

Enterprise buyers cannot sign a training contract on a handshake, and we do not expect them to. We work with standard procurement processes: written proposals with scoped deliverables, defined outcomes and acceptance criteria, purchase orders, staged invoicing against milestones, and multi-year programme structures where the programme runs across several cohorts and financial years. We are happy to complete supplier onboarding forms, information security questionnaires and insurance verification as part of the process.

If you are running a formal selection, our free sales training RFP template gives you a requirements list and a weighted scoring matrix you can use with any supplier, including our competitors.

How an Enterprise Programme Is Built

The first stage is a diagnostic: recorded calls across several reps and segments, a review of a sample of open and recently lost opportunities, CRM stage definitions, and interviews with frontline managers and one or two senior sellers. We produce a written assessment identifying the two or three behaviours costing the most revenue.

The second stage is design: a curriculum matched to those gaps, cohort sizes and sequencing, the manager track, and an agreed measurement framework. The third stage is delivery, with live deals used as the practice material rather than invented case studies. The fourth is reinforcement: manager coaching sessions, scorecards, and a review at an agreed point to decide what to train next.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

We have designed programmes for populations from 20 to several hundred sellers, delivered in cohorts of 8 to 25 so that roleplay and live feedback remain possible. Larger populations are sequenced over quarters rather than compressed into a single event.

We run cohort-based rollouts, so size is a question of sequencing rather than a hard limit. Cohorts are deliberately small enough that everyone practises in the room, and larger organisations are covered by running cohorts in sequence across sites.
